Our Mission
Metropolitan Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers committed to carrying ou the two-fold mandate of the Great Commission in
Matthew 28: 19-20:
Go everywhere...Teach all.
Metropolitan is committed to the example of ministry outlined in
Luke 4:18:
-Preach to the poor,
-Free captives,
-Heal broken hearts,
-Give sight to the blind,
-Release those who have been bruised.
The goal of the ministry is to develop informed, committed, Christian disciples prepared to live in and serve the present age to the glory of God.
